System malfunction location

CAN communication: communication error to climate control unit

Detection condition

•  Communication error between the PCM and climate control unit continues for 5 s or more.

Preconditions

―  Battery voltage: 10 V or more

―  Ignition switched: On

Fail-safe

•  Not applicable

Possible cause

•  CAN communication line malfunction between PCM and climate control unit

•  Body control module (BCM) malfunction
