DTC U0100:00 [PCM (SKYACTIV-X)]

System malfunction location

CAN communication: communication error with PCM

Detection condition

•  The PCM detects that any of the following modules stores the DTC U0100:00.

―  DC-DC converter (Mazda M Hybrid)

―  Electronically controlled brake unit

―  Integrated starter generator (ISG)

―  Mazda M Hybrid battery

Fail-safe

•  Controls the voltage generated by the integrated starter generator (ISG) at 22.5 V.

•  Inhibits the i-stop control.

•  Inhibits the regenerative braking control.

•  Inhibits the motor assist control.

•  Inhibits the non-power generation control.

Possible cause

•  DTCs are stored in any of the following modules.

Note

•  If any of the following modules stores a DTC, the PCM stores the same DTC or similar.

•  If the PCM stores a DTC even though the following modules do not store a DTC, clear the DTC as it was for a past malfunction, and then complete the repair.

―  DC-DC converter (Mazda M Hybrid)

―  Electronically controlled brake unit

―  Integrated starter generator (ISG)

―  Mazda M Hybrid battery
