FUEL PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-D 1.8]

Resistance inspection

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(E)].)

2.  Remove the engine cover. (See ENGINE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 1.8].)

3.  Disconnect the fuel pressure relief valve connector.

4.  Inspect the resistance between fuel pressure relief valve terminals A and B.

•  If not within the specification, replace the common rail. (See COMMON RAIL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 1.8].)
