EXHAUST SHUTTER VALVE ACTUATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-X 2.0]

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(E)].)

2.  Remove in the order shown in the figure.

3.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

4.  When replacing the exhaust shutter valve actuator, perform the following system initialization procedure.

(1)  Switch the ignition ON (engine on) and wait for 10 min while idling.

(2)  Switch the ignition OFF and wait for 1 s.

(3)  Perform the DTC inspection. (See DTC INSPECTION.)
