EVAPORATIVE CHAMBER INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-D 1.8]

1.  Remove the evaporative chamber. (See EVAPORATIVE CHAMBER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 1.8].)

2.  Blow air flow port A and verify that there is air flow.

•  If there is no air flow, replace the evaporative chamber. (See EVAPORATIVE CHAMBER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 1.8].)

3.  Verify that there is no deformation or cracking of the evaporative chamber.

•  If the exterior is no normal, replace the evaporative chamber. (See EVAPORATIVE CHAMBER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 1.8].)
