BOOST AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-X 2.0]

Note
•  The boost air temperature sensor and boost pressure sensor cannot be removed as a single unit. When replacing the boost air temperature sensor or boost pressure sensor, replace the boost air temperature sensor/boost pressure sensor.

Resistance inspection

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(E)].)

2.  Remove the boost pressure sensor/boost air temperature sensor. (See BOOST AIR PRESSURE SENSOR/BOOST AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-X 2.0].)

3.  Measure the resistance between boost pressure sensor/boost air temperature sensor terminals D and B.

•  If not as specified, replace the boost pressure sensor/boost air temperature sensor. (See BOOST AIR PRESSURE SENSOR/BOOST AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-X 2.0].)
