LOW FUEL TEMPERATURE SENSOR INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-X 2.0]

Resistance Inspection

Note
•  The low fuel pressure sensor/low fuel temperature sensor cannot be removed as a single unit. When replacing the low fuel pressure sensor/low fuel temperature sensor, replace it together with the high pressure fuel pump as a single unit.

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(E)].)

2.  Open the engine cover. (See ENGINE COVER OPEN/CLOSE [SKYACTIV-X 2.0].)

3.  Disconnect the low fuel pressure sensor/low fuel temperature sensor connector.

4.  Measure the resistance between low fuel pressure sensor/low fuel temperature sensor terminals A and B.

•  If not as specified, replace the high pressure fuel pump. (See LOW FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR/LOW FUEL TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-X 2.0].)
