BLOW-BY HEATER INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-D 1.8]

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(E)].)

2.  Disconnect the blow-by heater connector.

3.  Measure the resistance between the blow-by heater terminals A and B.

•  If not as specified, replace the blow-by heater. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 1.8].)
