ONLY PARTIAL INDICATION ON ACTIVE DRIVING DISPLAY [ACTIVE DRIVING DISPLAY]

Outline

Description
•  When the ignition is switched ON (engine off or on), there is only partial indication on the active driving display.
Possible cause
•  Indication on active driving display is turned off by setting personalization feature
•  Active driving display malfunction

VERIFY ALL SYSTEM DTCs
•  Perform the DTC inspection.
•  Are any DTCs displayed?
Yes
Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
No
Go to the next step.

VERIFY PERSONALIZATION FEATURES SETTING
•  Verify the [Active Driving Display Content] using the personalization features.
(Refer to the [PERSONALIZATION FEATURES] in the workshop manual)
•  Was the [Active Driving Display Content] set to [Disable]?
Yes
Set [Active Driving Display Content] to [Enable] and verify the operation.
Operation is verified:
•  Troubleshooting completed. (Explain the contents of the servicing to the customer.)
Operation is not verified:
•  Go to the next step.
No
Go to the next step.
Repair completion verification
VERIFY THAT VEHICLE IS REPAIRED
•  Install/connect the part removed/disconnected during the troubleshooting procedure.
•  Has the malfunction symptom been eliminated?
Yes
Complete the symptom troubleshooting. (Explain contents of repair to customer)
No
Refer to the controller area network (CAN) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error.
If the CAN communication is normal, perform the diagnosis from Step 1.
•  If the malfunction is not resolved, replace the active driving display.
