POWER LIFTGATE (PLG) REAR SWITCH INSPECTION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(E)].)

2.  Remover the power liftgate (PLG) rear switch. (See POWER LIFTGATE (PLG) REAR SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Verify that the continuity between the power liftgate (PLG) rear switch terminals is as indicated in the table.

•  If not as indicated in the table, replace the power liftgate (PLG) rear switch. (See POWER LIFTGATE (PLG) REAR SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Apply battery voltage to power liftgate (PLG) rear switch terminal A, and connect terminal B to ground.

5.  Verify that the LED illuminates.

•  If there is any malfunction, replace the power liftgate (PLG) rear switch. (See POWER LIFTGATE (PLG) REAR SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
