ASSIST HANDLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Removal

1.  Insert a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver into the service hole and remove the assist handle covers.

2.  Pull the assist handle in the order of arrows (1) and (2) shown in the figure and remove it while detaching the clips.

Note
•  Remove the assist handle by shaking it up and down.


Installation

1.  Push the assist handle in the direction of the arrows shown in the figure and insert it into the assist handle brackets.

2.  Push the assist handle covers in the direction of the arrows shown in the figure to install the assist handle.
