REAR WIPER MOTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(E)].)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Rear wiper arm and blade (See REAR WIPER ARM AND BLADE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [(E)].)

(2)  Liftgate upper trim (See LIFTGATE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Liftgate side trim (See LIFTGATE SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Liftgate recess (See LIFTGATE RECESS REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Door lock switch (liftgate) (with door lock switch (liftgate)) (See DOOR LOCK SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [(E)].)

(6)  Power liftgate (PLG) rear switch (with power liftgate (PLG) rear switch) (See POWER LIFTGATE (PLG) REAR SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(7)  Liftgate lower trim (See LIFTGATE LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Disconnect the connectors.

4.  Remove the bolts.

5.  Pull out the rear wiper motor pin from the outer bushing and remove the rear wiper motor.

6.  Press in the outer bushing from the outside of the liftgate.

7.  Pull the outer bushing from the inside of the liftgate and remove it.

8.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
