Unit communication error (CAN)

Detection condition

•  The vehicle control module (VCM) received a BUS OFF signal (CAN) from the driver monitoring camera unit for 10 s.

Fail-safe

(See DTC TABLE [VEHICLE CONTROL MODULE (E)].)

Possible cause

•  Malfunction in CAN BUS communication line between vehicle control module (VCM) and driver monitoring camera unit

•  Driver monitoring camera unit malfunction

•  Vehicle control module (VCM) malfunction
