VERIFY FREEZE FRAME DATA HAS BEEN RECORDED
• Has FREEZE FRAME DATA been recorded?

Yes

Go to the next step.

No
|
Record the FREEZE FRAME DATA on the repair order, then go to the next step.

VERIFY RELATED REPAIR INFORMATION AVAILABILITY
• Check for related service repair information availability?
|
Yes
|
Perform repair or diagnosis according to available repair information.
• If vehicle is not repaired, go to the next step.
|
No
|
Go to the next step.

|
VERIFY OTHER STORED DTCs
• Connect the WDS or equivalent to the DLC-2.
• Turn the engine switch to the ON position.
• Retrieve the stored DTC.
• Is the DTC P0093 displayed?
|
Yes
|
Go to troubleshooting procedures for DTC P0093.
|
No
|
Go to the next step.
|

|
INSPECT FUEL LINE FOR LEAKAGE
• Start the engine.
• Disconnect the suction control valve connector.
• Verify that the fuel leakage between supply pump and fuel injector.
• Is there any fuel leakage?

Yes
|
Repair or replace for fuel leakage, then go to the Step 6.
|
No
|
Go to the next step.
|

|
INSPECT FUEL PRESSURE LIMITER REGULATING PRESSURE
• Access FRP PID using the WDS or equivalent.
• Start the engine and run it at idle.
• Disconnect the suction control valve connector.
• Monitor the FRP PID.
• Does the FRP PID indicate less than 112 MPa {1142 kgf/cm2, 16,244 psi}?

Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|
No
|
Replace the common rail, then go to the next step.
|

|
VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING OF DTC P0089 COMPLETED
• Make sure to reconnect all disconnected connectors.
• Turn the engine switch to the ON position (engine off).
• Clear the DTC from PCM memory using the WDS or equivalent.
• Start the engine.
• Is the same DTC present?

Yes
|
Replace the PCM, go to the next step.
|
No
|
Go to the next step.
|

VERIFY AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE
• Perform the "AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE".
• Is any DTCs present?

Yes
|
Go to applicable DTC inspection.
|
No
|
Troubleshooting completed.
|
