Restore Leather Seats
After a period of use, car leather seats often encounter issues such as cracking, tearing, or color fading. Below, I will guide you on how to address these problems.
What will you need:
– Fine sandpaper 180 -320 grit.
– Leather filler.
– leather dye.
– heat gun.
– Foam sponge.
How to get it done:
1. Use fine sandpaper to smooth the surface of the leather seat.
2. Use leather filler to fill in any scratches or scuffs on the leather (Skip this step if there is only color fading).
3. You use a heat gun to lightly dry the leather filler, then use a foam sponge to dab leather dye (make sure the dye matches the color of the leather seat) gently onto the leather. Immediately, dry it with the heat gun. Repeat this process several times until you achieve the desired result. Use the finest sandpaper to finish it.
4. In the case of excessively large tears or severe discoloration on the leather seat, it is advisable to visit professional care centers for repair or replacement.
