SEAL COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-X 2.0]

1.  Remove the engine cover. (See ENGINE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-X 2.0].)

2.  Remove the cover.

3.  Remove the seal cover.

4.  Remove the insulator.

5.  Remove the protector.

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal. (See Protector Installation Note.)

Protector Installation Note

Caution

•  The bolts shown in the figure may loosen when removing the protector because the nuts assembled to the bolts are removed. Tighten the bolts shown in the figure to the specified torque before installing the protector.

1.  Tighten the bolts shown in the figure.
