INTAKE MANIFOLD VACUUM INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-X 2.0]

1.  Remove the purge solenoid valve from the supercharger and install the vacuum gauge. （See PURGE SOLENOID VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-X 2.0].）

2.  Verify that the intake system parts and hose are securely installed.

3.  Warm up the engine completely.

4.  Measure the intake manifold vacuum when idling (no load).

•  If not within the standard, perform the following inspections.

―  Compression pressure (See COMPRESSION INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-X 2.0].)

―  Air suction

•  Each vacuum hose connecting area

•  Evaporative hose connecting area

•  Throttle body installation area

•  Fuel injector installation area

•  PCV valve installation area

•  Intake manifold installation area

•  Supercharger installation area
