 id0140s1106100

Note
•  The fuel pressure sensor cannot be removed as a single unit. When replacing the fuel pressure sensor, replace it together with the fuel injector as a single unit.

PID/DATA Monitor Inspection

1.  Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.

2.  Start the engine.

3.  Access the following PIDs using the M-MDS. (See PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION.)(See PID/DATA MONITOR TABLE [PCM (SKYACTIV-D)].)

•  ICP1 (fuel pressure sensor (built into fuel injector No.1))
•  ICP2 (fuel pressure sensor (built into fuel injector No.2))
•  ICP3 (fuel pressure sensor (built into fuel injector No.3))
•  ICP4 (fuel pressure sensor (built into fuel injector No.4))

4.  When increasing the engine speed, verify that the PID values for ICP1 / ICP2 / ICP3 / ICP4 change as shown in the figure.

•  If the PID values do not change, replace the applicable fuel injector. (See FUEL INJECTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 1.8].)
