i-stop OFF SWITCH INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-G (WITH CYLINDER DEACTIVATION (E))]

Note

•  The i-stop OFF switch is integrated with the cluster switch No.1.

•  For the i-stop OFF switch removal/installation, refer to CLUSTER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION. (See CLUSTER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

1.  Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.

2.  Perform the DTC inspection for the body control module (BCM). (See DTC INSPECTION.)

•  If DTCs are detected, repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.(See DTC TABLE [BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) (E)].)

•  If DTCs are not detected, go to the next step.

3.  Access the I-STOP_OFF_SW PID using the M-MDS. (See PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION.)

Test condition	Data contents (I-STOP_OFF_SW)
i-stop OFF switch is pressed	On
Except above	Off

•  If not within the specification, replace the cluster switch No.1. (See CLUSTER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
