Gear position indication does not illuminate in M position

Description

•  Gear position indication in instrument cluster does not illuminate in M position with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).

Possible cause

1.  Instrument cluster malfunction

Note

•  When the ATF temperature is 132 °C {270 °F} or more, gear fixing is inhibited, the gear position indication is turned off, and the control is changed to the automatic shift control.

Description	• Gear position indication in instrument cluster does not illuminate in M position with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).
Possible cause	1. Instrument cluster malfunction Note • When the ATF temperature is 132 °C {270 °F} or more, gear fixing is inhibited, the gear position indication is turned off, and the control is changed to the automatic shift control.
