REVOLUTION SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66M-R, C66MX-R]

Replacement Part

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(E)].)

2.  Remove the front under cover No.2. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No.2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Drain the manual transaxle oil. (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE OIL REPLACEMENT [C66M-R, C66MX-R].)

4.  Remove the revolution sensor using the following procedure.

(1)  Disconnect the revolution sensor connector.

(2)  Remove the revolution sensor and O-ring as a single unit.

(3)  Remove the O-ring from the revolution sensor.

5.  Install in the reverse order of removal. (See Revolution Sensor Installation Note.)

Revolution Sensor Installation Note

1.  Clean revolution sensor and the revolution sensor installation hole.

Note

•  Do not apply manual transaxle oil to the O-ring.

2.  Apply manual transaxle oil to the revolution sensor installation hole.

3.  Install a new O-ring to revolution sensor.

4.  Install revolution sensor and the O-ring as a single unit.
