AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID (ATF) REPLACEMENT [ET6A-EL, ET6AX-EL (E)]

Warning
•  Do not perform the servicing while the ATF is hot. Otherwise, it could cause severe burns or serious injury.

1.  Remove the front under cover No.2. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No.2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2.  Remove the front under cover No.1. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No.1 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Disconnect the wiring harness from the front crossmember. (With wiring harness)

4.  Remove the dipstick securing bolt.

5.  Remove the dipstick.

6.  Remove the oil pan cover. (SKYACTIV-X 2.0)

7.  Remove the drain plug and washer, and drain the ATF.

8.  Install a new washer and drain plug.

9.  Add ATF from the dipstick installation hole.

Note
•  The ATF color is blue. (SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5, SKYACTIV-D 1.8)
•  Only use ATF FZ. (SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5, SKYACTIV-D 1.8)
•  The ATF color is red. (SKYACTIV-X 2.0)
•  Use genuine ATF A7. (SKYACTIV-X 2.0)

10.  Adjust the ATF level.

11.  Insert the dipstick and install the securing bolt.

12.  Install the oil pan cover. (SKYACTIV-X 2.0)

13.  Connect the wiring harness to the front crossmember. (With wiring harness)

14.  Install the front under cover No.1. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No.1 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

15.  Install the front under cover No.2. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No.2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
