THEFT-DETERRENT SIREN INSPECTION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(E)].)

2.  Remove the theft-deterrent siren with the connector connected. (See THEFT-DETERRENT SIREN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Connect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(E)].)

4.  Verify that the voltages of each of the terminals are as indicated in the terminal voltage table (reference).

•  If the voltage is not as specified in the terminal voltage table (reference), inspect the parts under Inspection item(s) and related wiring harnesses.
―  If the system does not work normally even though the parts or related wiring harnesses do not have any malfunction, replace the theft-deterrent siren. (See THEFT-DETERRENT SIREN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
