DTC P0397:00 [PCM (SKYACTIV-X)]

 id0102u9360600

Outline

System malfunction location

Cylinder pressure sensor No.1 circuit low input

Detection condition
•  The PCM monitors the input voltage from the cylinder pressure sensor No.1. If the input voltage at the PCM terminal 1Y is 0.29 V or below for 5 s, the PCM determines that the cylinder pressure sensor No.1 circuit has a malfunction.
Fail-safe
•  Inhibits the EGR control.
•  Inhibits the SPCCI control.
•  Stops the combustion control feedback.
•  Retards the ignition timing.
Possible cause
•  Cylinder pressure sensor No.1 connector or terminals malfunction
•  Cylinder pressure sensor No.1 malfunction
•  PCM connector or terminals malfunction
•  Short to ground in any of the following cylinder pressure sensor No.1 circuits.
―  Power supply circuit
―  Signal circuit
•  Short circuit in cylinder pressure sensor No.1 signal circuit and ground circuit
•  Open circuit in any of the following cylinder pressure sensor No.1 circuits.
―  Power supply circuit
―  Signal circuit
•  PCM malfunction
