LP-EGR CONTROL VALVE INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-D 1.8]

Resistance inspection

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(E)].)

2.  Lift up the vehicle.

3.  Remove the insulator. (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 1.8].)

4.  Disconnect the LP-EGR control valve connector.

5.  Inspect the resistance between LP-EGR control valve terminals D and E.

•  If not within the specification, replace the LP-EGR control valve. (See LP-EGR CONTROL VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 1.8].)
