DC-DC Converter Operation Inspection (Vehicle With i-stop System (Without Mazda M Hybrid))
1. Perform the KOER self-test.
• If the following DTCs are detected, repair the applicable malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See
DTC TABLE [PCM (SKYACTIV-G (E))] .)
― P058A:00, P0A8D:00, P0A94:00, U0298:00, U1007:00
2. Inspect the battery.
3. When the engine is restarted by the i-stop control, verify that the following measured voltages are not lower than 11.5V .
• Commander switch supply terminal (vehicle wiring harness-side connector terminal A)
• Humidity sensor/solar radiation sensor/auto light sensor/rain sensor terminal (vehicle wiring harness-side connector terminal D)
― If it cannot be verified, go to the next step.
4. Inspect the wiring harness between the following terminals for an open or short circuit.
• Between DC-DC converter terminal K and commander switch terminal A
• Between DC-DC converter terminal K and humidity sensor/solar radiation sensor/auto light sensor/rain sensor terminal D
― If there is any open or short circuit in the wiring harness, repair or replace the malfunctioning part.
