POWER BRAKE UNIT VACUUM SENSOR INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-D 1.8]

Note
•  The power brake unit vacuum sensor cannot be removed because it is integrated with the power brake unit.

PID/DATA Monitor Inspection

1.  Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.

2.  Switch the ignition ON (engine off).

3.  Verify that the PID BBP value (power brake unit vacuum) is within the specification. (See PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION.)(See PID/DATA MONITOR TABLE [PCM (SKYACTIV-D)].)

•  If not within the specification, replace the power brake unit. (See POWER BRAKE UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L.H.D. (E)].) (See POWER BRAKE UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [R.H.D.].)
