1.  Remove the transaxle. (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66M-R (SKYACTIV-G 2.0)] (MTX).)(See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [ET6A-EL (SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5) (E)] (ATX,2WD).)(See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [ET6AX-EL (SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5) (E)] (ATX,AWD).)

2.  Remove the flywheel (MTX) or the drive plate (ATX). (See CLUTCH UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66M-R, C66MX-R] (MTX).)(See DRIVE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [ET6A-EL, ET6AX-EL (E)] (ATX).)

3.  Remove in the order indicated in the table.

4.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Rear Oil Seal Removal Note

1.  Cut the rear oil seal lip using a utility knife.

2.  Remove the rear oil seal using a flathead screwdriver with the tip protected by a clean cloth to prevent damage to the crankshaft.

Rear Oil Seal Installation Note

1.  Apply clean engine oil to the inner surface of a new rear oil seal.

2.  Insert the rear oil seal into the cylinder block by hand.

3.  Tap the rear oil seal in evenly using the SST and a hammer.
