VERIFY BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) DTCs AGAIN
• Clear the DTC recorded in the memory.
(See CLEARING DTC.)
• Perform the DTC inspection for the body control module (BCM).
(See DTC INSPECTION.)
• Is the same Pending DTC present?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Go to repair completion verification 2.
2
VERIFY NUMBER OF PROGRAMMED REMOTE TRANSMITTER
• Perform the PID/data monitor inspection and display the BCM TMTR_NUM.
• Verify the number of remote transmitters the customer owns.
• Is the number of remote transmitters the customer owns the same as the displayed PID value?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
The number of remote transmitters the customer owns is more than the programmed number of remote transmitters:
• Delete the programming of the remote transmitters.
(See CLEARING REMOTE TRANSMITTER.)
The number of remote transmitters the customer owns is less than the programmed number of remote transmitters:
• Program additional remote transmitters.
Go to the next step.
3
VERIFY IF REMOTE TRANSMITTERS OWNED BY CUSTOMER HAVE BEEN PROGRAMMED
• Perform a lock/unlock operation on all of the remote transmitters the customer owns.
• Does the lock/unlock operation on all of the remote transmitters operate normally?
Yes
Perform the repair completion verification.
No
Go to the next step.
