DC-DC CONVERTER (Mazda M Hybrid) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Verify if the ground plate needs to be disconnected and if it does, disconnect it. (See GROUND PLATE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)
2. Remove the front deflector. (See DEFLECTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3. Set the front mudguard (LH) aside as shown in the figure. (See MUDGUARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4. Disconnect the wiring harness shown in the figure.

5. Disconnect the wiring harness shown in the figure.

6. Disconnect the wiring harness shown in the figure. (with seat warmer system)

7. Remove in the order shown in the figure.
8. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Bracket No.2 Installation Note
1. Tighten the bolts in the order shown in the figure.

Bus Bar No.2 Installation Note
1. Temporarily tighten the bolt.

2. Insert the bus bar No.2 pin into bracket No.1, and the bracket No.1 stud bolt into bus bar No.2.
3. Tighten the bolt.
4. Tighten the nut.

1. Install the hooks to the body in the order of hooks A and B.
