• The vehicle control module (VCM) detects that the front side radar sensor power supply circuit voltage is abnormally low for 15 s.

• Short to ground or open circuit in front side radar sensor (LH) or front side radar sensor (RH) power supply circuit
• Battery malfunction
• Malfunction in generator
• Front side radar sensor (RH) malfunction
• Front side radar sensor (LH) malfunction
• Vehicle control module (VCM) malfunction (built into body control module (BCM))

(See DTC INSPECTION.)
• Is the same Pending DTC present?

Yes

Go to the next step.

No

Perform the [ACTION FOR NON-REPEATABLE MALFUNCTIONS].
If DTC is displayed
• Go to the next step.
If DTC is not displayed
• Go to repair completion verification 2.

DETERMINE MALFUNCTIONING LOCATION
• Reconnect all the disconnected connectors.
• Connect the negative battery terminal.
• Display the following PIDs using the M-MDS.
(See PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION.)
Front side radar sensor (LH)
Front side radar sensor (RH)
• Is the voltage B+ or less?

Yes
|
Replace the front side radar sensor which the voltage is B+ or less and perform the repair completion verification.
|
No
|
Replace the front side radar sensor (RH), then go to the next step.
|

• Install/connect the part removed/disconnected during the troubleshooting procedure.
• Clear the DTC recorded in the memory.

(See DTC INSPECTION.)
• Is the same Pending DTC present?

Yes
|
Refer to the controller area network (CAN) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error.
If the CAN communication is normal, replace the front side radar sensor (LH) and perform the repair completion verification.

No
|
Perform the [ACTION FOR NON-REPEATABLE MALFUNCTIONS].
If DTC is displayed
• Repeat the diagnosis from Step 1.
If DTC is not displayed
• Go to repair completion verification 2.
