BUMPER SLIDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Front Bumper Slider

Front bumper slider No.1

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(E)].)

2.  Remove the upper face. (See UPPER FACE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the front bumper (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [(E)].)

4.  Remove the fastener and the screws shown in the figure.

5.  Pull the front bumper slider No.1 in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure while pressing the hook tabs in the direction of arrows (2).

6.  Remove the front bumper slider No.1 while detaching the pin.

7.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

8.  Perform the 360° view monitor system aiming. (with 360° view monitor system) (See 360°VIEW MONITOR SYSTEM AIMING.)

9.  Perform the front radar sensor aiming adjustment. (with front radar sensor) (See FRONT RADAR SENSOR AIMING.)

10.  Perform the front side radar sensor aiming adjustment. (with front side radar sensor) (See FRONT SIDE/REAR SIDE RADAR SENSOR AIMING.)

Front bumper slider No.2

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(E)].)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Upper face (See UPPER FACE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Front bumper (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [(E)].)

(3)  Front combination light (See FRONT COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the screw.

4.  Move front bumper slider No.2 in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and remove it while detaching tabs.

5.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

6.  Adjust the headlight aiming. (See HEADLIGHT AIMING [(E)].)

7.  Perform the 360° view monitor system aiming. (with 360° view monitor system) (See 360°VIEW MONITOR SYSTEM AIMING.)

8.  Perform the front radar sensor aiming adjustment. (with front radar sensor) (See FRONT RADAR SENSOR AIMING.)

9.  Perform the front side radar sensor aiming adjustment. (with front side radar sensor) (See FRONT SIDE/REAR SIDE RADAR SENSOR AIMING.)

Rear Bumper Slider

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(E)].)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Rear package tray (See REAR PACKAGE TRAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Trunk covering (See TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Trunk board (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [(E)].)

(4)  Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Trunk side upper trim (See TRUNK SIDE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Partially peel back the trunk side trim. (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [(E)].)

4.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Trunk side insulator (See TRUNK SIDE INSULATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Rear combination light (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Rear over fender (See REAR OVER FENDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Rear splash shield (See SPLASH SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Rear bumper (See REAR BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [(E)].)

5.  Remove the screw and nut shown in the figure.

6.  Press the hook tabs shown in the figure and remove the rear bumper slider from the rear fender panel.

Caution

•  When removing, move the rear bumper slider straight out from the rear fender panel so as not to damage the rear bumper slider pin.

7.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

8.  Perform the rear side radar sensor aiming adjustment. (with rear side radar sensor) (See FRONT SIDE/REAR SIDE RADAR SENSOR AIMING.)
