DTC P1142:00 [PCM (SKYACTIV-D)]

DTC P1142:00 [PCM (SKYACTIV-D)]

 id0102t5885000

Outline

System malfunction location

Fuel restriction condition

Detection condition
Note
•  The PCM controls the fuel injection amount so that the rotation of the turbocharger with variable turbine geometry does not reach the excess speed range.
When the following detection conditions are met, the PCM suppresses the exhaust gas amount by decreasing the fuel injection amount to inhibit the turbocharger with variable turbine geometry from operating at excess speed. The PCM stores P1142:00 as a record indicating that the output restriction has been performed.
•  Any one of the following conditions is met:
―  Value of exhaust gas pressure sensor No. 1 is specified value or more*1
―  Turbocharger with variable turbine geometry operated in excessive speed
―  Turbocharger with variable turbine geometry overboost condition*1
*1: The conditions vary according to the engine speed and the operation condition of the turbocharger with variable turbine geometry.
